Lithography Systems Product Manager will be responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the Advanced Packaging and Flat Panel Display product lines around the world. This includes defining a roadmap for product development by identifying opportunities for improving the success of the product line, recommending new product development as necessary and husbanding development projects through the Product Life Cycle process from Market Requirement Specifications to end of life. Responsibilities also include development of product positioning and value proposition statements, support of the worldwide salesforce with sales collateral and product literature, and sales training. Worldwide travel up to 30% may be required. Other duties should be performed as requested. Product Manager reports to Vice President and General Manager of the Lithgraphy Systems Group.


  • Accurately define product requirements to engineering.
  • Interface with engineering and communicate the current and future capabilities to customers and sales people. 
  • Own and manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities such as pricing and End of Life.
  • Determine strategic direction by creating thorough market and product requirement documents that accurately detail and define the market needs. Efficiently bring products & solutions through the market input process working as the leader in a product team maintaining aggressive yet accurate and clear roadmaps that look out 24 to 36 months.
  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis focusing on the top competitors per product for a given application. Develop and maintain value of ownership modeling. 
  • Take responsibility for the profit and loss account for the product line and ensure that actions are taken to ensure that the results meet or exceed company expectations.
  • Work with the regional sales managers & others to develop timely promotional material. Work with the marketing communications team to create promotional material including brochures, videos, technical specifications & various other sales documents.
  • Support the training of the sales team through both in field visits and sales training activities, group conferences & presentations.
  • Travel typically will be 25% to 30% per year to be effective and will cover the entire globe (USA, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Europe)


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (MBA preferred). 
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in a job in the semiconductor capital equipment market. (Lithography experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent teamwork skills. 
  • Technical background, with experience in semiconductor fabrication, physics or instrumentation desired.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
