Overview

We are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer who will be primarily responsible for supporting Equipment Sentinel, Rudolph’s fault detection and classification (FDC) product by assisting the sales team, driving the product roadmap, and working on customer projects. Secondary responsibilities include implementing and managing factory automation systems. The Product Specialist should also recognize opportunities in new markets, answering questions from prospective customers, and performing competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Equipment Sentinel development teams in the US on design and implementation of new features. This will require spending time at the ISG HQ office in Wilmington, MA.

 

Assist customers with performing data analysis and finding the value. Training how to use the product is step 1, assisting the customer in finding the value is the critical step and where the most job satisfaction comes from.

 

Work with Rudolph’s YMS systems seeking ways to correlate FDC data with quality measurements such as metrology, inspection, and yield data.

 

Establish customer relationships, become known as the industry expert in your field. Develop new and exciting presentations, whitepaper, and conference papers

 

Develop your leadership skills. Learn how to influence others to be successful in your career.

 

Approxiamtely 30% travel will be required, including both international and domestic locations 

Qualifications

Real factory experience in fault detection and classification of semiconductor and similar processes in multiple process areas. A broad range of process tool experience is desired; etch  cvd, litho, epi, etc…)

 

Knowledge of FDC techniques and experience with a variety of semiconductor manufacturing process tools

 

Previous fault model development experience with at least one commercial FDC software provider desired

 

Minimum 4 year college/university degree in engineering, advanced degree a plus

 

Min 8 years of experience working with process tools

 

Leadership

 

Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting

 

Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills

 

Experience with Rudolph’s Equipment Sentinel product is a plus but not required

 

Fab experience strongly preferred

 

Factory automation skills is a plus
