  • Overview

    Position is responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the ISG software product lines around the world. This includes defining roadmaps for product development by identifying opportunities for improving the success of the product line, recommending new product development as necessary and shepherding development projects through the Product Life Cycle process from Market Requirement Specifications to end of life. Responsibilities also include development of product positioning, ROI, and solution value propositions, support of the worldwide salesforce with sales collateral and product literature, and sales training.


    • Work with the product management across Rudolph’s business units to identify, develop, and promote solutions that leverage Rudolph’s portfolio of software, lithography, inspection, and metrology products to solve customers’ high value challenges
    • Accurately define product requirements to engineering and capture these requirements in a Product Definition Document (PDD)
    • Determine strategic direction by creating thorough market and product requirement documents that accurately detail and define the market needs
    • Interface with engineering, articulate needs and expectations and champion product success
    • Communicate current and future product differentiation and capabilities to internal and external customers 
    • Own and manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities such as pricing and End of Life
    • Efficiently bring products & solutions through the product launch process working taking a leadership role in a product team maintaining aggressive yet accurate and clear roadmaps that look out 24 to 36 months
    • Conduct thorough competitive analysis focusing on the top competitors per product for a given application. Develop and maintain value of ownership modeling
    • Prioritize roadmap programs based on limited resources and rooted in ROI analysis
    • Work with the regional sales managers & others to develop timely promotional material. Work with the marketing communications team to create promotional material including brochures, videos, technical specifications & various other sales documents
    • Support the training of the sales team through both in field visits and sales training activities, group conferences & presentations
    • Global travel required: ~40% per year

    • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, software development, or marketing/sales (MBA preferred)
    • 10+ yrs. experience in software product management and/or process control software marketing and sales
    • 5+ yrs. experience with process control software (e.g.YMS, ADC, Run-to-Run, Factory Automation)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent teamwork skills
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching world-class products 
    • Experience in the semiconductor capital equipment market required
