Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Starting in January 2018, this position supports Manufacturing, Purchasing and Engineering personnel with the build and test of electro-mechanical-optical subassemblies for existing and new lithography systems.

• Develop, document, implement and maintain manufacturing assembly and operating procedures.
• Write ECOs to resolve technical and manufacturing issues
• Determine most efficient method of assembly and test, optimum workflow, and space utilization; and support manufacturing documentation of those processes adequately.
• Provide timely support and resolution to manufacturing issues, rejected material disposition, quality issues, root cause analysis.
• Assembly fixture design

• Bachelors of Science candidate in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Co-Op Student
• Ability to understand and work with schematics, assembly drawings and procedures.
• Able to read blueprints
• Capable of using CAD software, preferably Inventor.
• Experience in debugging mechanical and electrical problems a plus
