Responsibilities

Responsible for implementation and support of technologies deployed in our organization which consists of multiple sites in multiple countries.  Assist in capacity planning, datacenter management, documentation, application support and advanced troubleshooting across technology components.  A strong Microsoft foundation is mandatory along with experience in the Azure / Microsoft 365 realm as well.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that enterprise computing resources are available to end users at all times
  • Maintain and manage existing network, server and application environments
  • Provide end user support with clear communication skills
  • Work with system vendors to resolve problems when needed
  • Document critical system infrastructure within operating environment
  • Update systems as needed to meet regulatory requirements and maintain a secure infrastructure. Systems include Microsoft, SAN’s, Aruba Networks
  • Architect and troubleshoot network segments, including VLANS
  • Act as a point of contact for escalation, installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with developing and managing key infrastructure
  • Implementing and maintaining an MDM solution
  • Strong Microsoft 365 background
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience working with Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experiencing managing and troubleshooting Active Directory
  • Networking – Layer 2/3.
  • Software Defined Networking
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Strong technical background with clear written and oral communication skills. Collaborating with peers is essential.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problematic areas, pinpoint solutions and propose the best resolution
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on occasions
  • Must be able to work flexible hours in order to maintain system upgrades or implement solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping stakeholders and supervisors informed or status
  • Must be able to interact and communicate in a cross departmental environment
  • Some Linux patch management experience would be helpful.
