    The Process Control Group is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced metrology and optical inspection tools for monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories around the globe.

    We are seeking a creative Sr. Systems Software engineer to join our team to develop cutting edge solutions for semiconductor inspection tool platforms. This team is responsible for development of advanced electromechanical systems utilizing optics, robotics, image processing, and control systems. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, has hands-on experience integrating and debugging complex electromechanical systems and ready to work with other highly skilled, dedicated team members in a fast-paced high-tech environment.


    • Create: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and robust software for new and existing inspection systems.
    • Resolve: Quickly analyze and resolve issues reported by internal and external customers.
    • Engineer: Write requirements, functional specifications, solid code and test plans
    • Own: Identify potential product improvements and recommend design modifications.
    • Learn: Gain in-depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry, inspection tool platforms and technologies.  Stay current with current software development best practices.
    • Collaborate: Demonstrate effective communication skills within a diverse team


    • BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
    • Five (5) or more years of current Windows development experience:
      • C# and .NET framework
      • Managed/unmanaged C++
      • Design patterns
      • SOLID design principles
      • User-Interface / database development
      • Multi-Threading
      • Unit test frameworks
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
    • Desired:
      • Ability to read schematics and setup/use electronic test equipment (e.g. logic analyzers)
      • SEMI conductor capital equipment expertise
      • Image/signal processing
      • Advanced degree
