    Rudolph Technologies is looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead highly technical and complex projects related to the design of Rudolph’s award winning line of Lithography Systems for Advanced Packaging and Flat Panel Display technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The skill to interact across a mix of Engineering Disciplines while ensuring success on projects with aggressive timelines and deliverables is a must.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
    • Work with the development teams to assess work content (man-hours) and resources required to meet specified deadlines
    • Plan and schedule project timelines
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Facilitate cross-functional transactions for efficient hand-offs between functional groups
    • Track & Report on project tasks and resource requirements
    • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
    • Maintain Project Health dashboard
    • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
    • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
    • Manage project budget
    • Successfully manage projects with Cross Functional Engineering Teams
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Provide direction and support to project team, using a solid technical understanding of the project
    • Quality assurance

    Qualifications

    • 4-Year Technical Degree required, engineering discipline preferred
    • Knowledge of lithography industry
    • Experience in semiconductor industry required
    • An understanding of engineering-related business processes for implementation and release of new designs (e.g., documentation control, procurement, manufacturing planning)
    • A working knowledge of the typical needs and responsibilities of each of the cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Product Support)
    • Demonstrated ability to establish, implement, and maintain customer-supplier relationships across cross-functional boundaries
    • Qualification in Project Management or equivalent preferred 
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • 3-5 Years direct work experience in project management capacity
    • 5 or more years of experience in capital equipment product development
    • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning and risk management
    • Experience in Change Management
    • Proficient in project management software such as Wind-chill Project Link and MS Project
    • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, testing or automation is a plus
    • Knowledge of SEMI/CE standards a plus
