    Business Unit 

    The Process Control Group (PCG) is a world leader in the design and manufacture of optical inspection and advanced metrology tools for monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories around the globe.  The Sr. Director Product Management will responsible the success of the PCG inspection product lines and will be located in our Bloomington, MN office.

     

    Responsibilities

    Primary responsibility will be setting the vision and strategy to drive the market share for Rudolph's inspection product lines and associated options. Other specific activities:

    • Market analysis with emphasis on market-based 3-year strategy and roadmap.
    • Ability to identify market inflections with the largest ROI and market share potential.
    • Prioritization of key roadmap programs and strategy to deliver market share gains.
    • Responsibility for driving #1 market share position for designated product lines
    • Competitive product positioning and messaging.
    • Product lifecycle management.
    • Conducting VOC to understand market and customer needs.
    • Support of the field teams during the sales and quoting process.
    • Development and refinement of market based entitlement models.
    • Marketing/ applications alignment to establish a process to maximize the value of the applications studies with the stated goal of building better product and solution value propositions.
    • Manage communications and collateral material to better support the sales team to minimize the level of account specific sales support by marketing.

     

    As the senior member of the Rudolph's Process Control Group's (PCG) product management team provide leadership and execute where appropriate strategic initiatives to improve performance, productivity, and efficiency.

     

    Support executive team in the identification and evaluation of potential IP or companies that Rudolph would benefit in controlling or partnering with.

     

    The position requires extensive travel, both domestically and international.  Estimated travel initially up to 50% to assess and undertnad Rudolph's markets.  Average yearly travel expected to be 30%.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing (MBA preferred). 
    • 10+ yrs. experience in product management and new product introductions.
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching world-class products. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent teamwork skills. 
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Experience in the semiconductor capital equipment.  
    • Experience with automated macro inspection equipment a plus.
