    Rudolph Technologies, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of process control equipment and data analysis systems and software used by microelectronic device manufacturers worldwide.

    We are currently seeking a strong, technically savvy, VP/General Manager for the Process Control group. In this key role, you will have direct responsibility for product development and sales support through technical account managers and applications engineers. You will have indirect responsibility for marketing, manufacturing, and sales and direct responsibility of profits and losses for the business unit.

     

    Success for this position is measured by the quality of the new products introduced, timely response to customers, and meeting the financial commitments set by the business unit to the company.

    This business unit is responsible for our largest product lines in macro inspection and metal metrology both #1 market share in their segments. Your primary focus will be to improve the efficiency of the team, increase the pace of innovation and drive further share gains. You will also support business development activity.

    Responsibilities

    Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with executive management, managers, and staff members as necessary.

     

    Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas for improvement.

     

    Establish project priorities and process for managing escalations and change requests from the field with minimal impact to existing commitments.

     

    Direct general activities related to the oversight of engineering and product development and the coordination with manufacturing.

     

    Participate in corporate strategy and planning.

     

    Support the global sales team with timely responses for applications studies and specification responses.

     

    Facilitate the sales process by insuring efficient and accurate communications exist between all relevant personnel, including PCG staff, customer support, and sales. Insures all parties have a strong sense of urgency for opportunity closure and project execution.

     

    Develop and support performance metrics.

    Qualifications

    A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in software engineering, machine vision, or optics related field. MBA or Master’s Degree in a technical discipline a plus.

     

    Demonstrated skill in mentoring, recruiting, and retaining talented engineers.

     

    Developing and managing a team with a culture of innovation, open collaboration, and continuous improvement.

     

    >5+ years of demonstrated experience leading a technical team, driving growth and managing a P&L.

     

    The ability to work within a multi-cultural environment is necessary, international experience is required.

     

    International travel required up to 30%.
