As the VP Sales & Marketing you will serve as member of the executive leadership team and build, organize, and manage a team of accomplished sales and marketing professionals to increase market share and improve gross margins for products sold in the worldwide semiconductor market.
Provide accurate forecasting on a quarterly basis. Develop repeatable process and which places the accountability on those closest to the accounts and emphasizes early PO and bulk of shipments before the last month of the quarter.
Lead the development of strategic customer relationships at multiple levels within the customer and Rudolph organizations.
Contribute to the development of the Rudolph global sales strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategic semiconductor priorities.
Define and drive the semiconductor growth strategy, meeting or exceeding annual revenue and bookings targets.
Establish positive partnering relationships cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Operations, Service and Support, etc.) to address the overall semiconductor customer experience.
Develop local regional relationships to provide localization and customization for a specific region.
Transform the marketing organization into a strategic asset with the ability to implement our corporate strategy of supplying comprehensive solutions to high value problems in high growth markets.
Identify the fastest growing segments of the market where Rudolph can maximize revenue and value.
Develop strategies (account and product) that quickly position Rudolph as a leader in those segments.
Ensure product marketing provides compelling value propositions, market collateral, and training for the field sales.
Assist sales with account strategies and global account strategies comprehending competitive positioning and messaging.
Support CEO and marketing communications with market data including customer expansion plans in specific segments.
Manage budget with a focus on measuring the investment returns on trade shows, ad campaigns, customer evaluations, etc.
Must possess strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven experience leading teams (direct and indirect reports) to achieve defined targets and results.
Proven track record of success in Product Development or Business Unit Management.
Capable of creating, deploying, and managing complex business processes across organizational boundaries.
Excellent understanding of pricing strategies and dynamics which drive value recognition.
Thorough knowledge of semiconductor marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
Ability to build and leverage analytics to capture and learn from changing customer/market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives.
Must be able to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Master's degree in relevant field.
15+ years of well-rounded marketing, sales, and business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility with a focus on market expansion and identifying emerging market trends in semiconductors.
Minimum of 8 years of experience dealing with semiconductor business/entities in APAC (China, Korea, Taiwan, and Japan).
